Transforming Emotions
Noah Philipp-Muller,
MA. (he/him)
Doctoral Candidate
I work with clients with a broad range of psychological challenges and life circumstances that bring them in for therapy. I provide clients with an opportunity to better understand distressing emotions and memories – my goal is to help create the conditions for meaningful change. I care about understanding clients’ current problems, and how those problems developed.
My therapeutic stance focuses on helping clients understand the function of their emotions, increase insight about their interpersonal challenges, grow around their traumatic experiences, and capture the meaning embedded in self-criticism. My training is grounded in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
I am a senior doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor. I have a breadth of experience working with diverse clients. At Transforming Emotions, my work is supervised by Dr. Immaculate Antony, C. Psych.
