Understanding Your Emotional Blueprint
Growing up, we all absorbed unspoken rules about love—how affection is shown, how conflict is managed, and what “being a good partner” looks like. When two people enter a relationship with different emotional blueprints, even small misunderstandings can feel frustrating or confusing.
This workshop will help you explore the emotional patterns you carry into your relationship today. Together, we’ll look at why conflict escalates, what happens internally for you and your partner during tough moments, and how to respond in ways that build understanding rather than distance.
If you’re hoping for more emotional safety, clarity, and closeness in your relationship, this session offers a supportive starting point.
Who Is This Workshop For?
This workshop is designed for couples in their 20s to 40s who want a stronger, more connected relationship. If you’ve ever felt like you’re trying to be loving but your partner doesn’t see it—or you keep having the same conflict even though you communicate as clearly as you can—this session will help you understand why.
It’s also a great fit for anyone curious about how family-of-origin and cultural values shape the way we love, fight, and repair.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Understand how your family-of-origin and culture influence how you express and receive love
- Identify primary emotions (what you feel deep down) vs. secondary emotions (what shows on the surface)
- Recognize a common “negative cycle” couples fall into during conflict
- Learn what you can do differently to break the cycle and shift toward connection
