I work with adults and couples who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or stretched thin by anxiety, intense emotions, relationship challenges, or questions about identity, purpose, and direction in life. For many of my clients, this work includes managing complex family dynamics, such as adult parent–child relationships, or navigating questions of identity and belonging, especially as first- or second-generation immigrants. Others come to therapy carrying persistent emotional pain, the weight of high expectations or achievement, or the pressure to “hold it all together.” I also work with couples, particularly when one or both partners are managing mental health concerns and want to strengthen understanding, communication, and connection.
My approach is informed by my doctoral training in clinical psychology and more than a decade of experience offering therapy, psychoeducation, and clinical supervision across individual, couple, family, and group settings. Alongside my clinical work, I’ve taught family therapy, supervised clinicians and trainees in psychology, social work, and psychiatry, and provided professional training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), including through the SickKids Learning Institute. Therapeutically, I draw from well-researched, effective approaches such as DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). My work is also shaped by person-centered, feminist, and existential perspectives, allowing space for both practical skill-building and deeper exploration of meaning, values, and lived experience.
I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, respectful, and human. I bring a deep sense of care and curiosity about who you are and what matters to you, tailoring our work to the realities of your life. At the core of my practice is the therapeutic relationship itself: creating a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy, with some evening availability for online sessions.
I am currently completing registration for supervised practice as a Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
