Registered Psychotherapist & Doctoral Practicum Student
Hi, I’m Rebecca, a Registered Psychotherapist passionate about helping adults rebuild the connection between mind and body, and learning to trust the deep wisdom that lives within themselves. I offer a warm, grounded, and collaborative space to explore trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. I also have a keen interest in supporting adults that have recently received a late ADHD diagnosis. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to show up authentically as we are. Together, we will work towards greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
As a clinician, I take an eclectic, integrative approach. I primarily draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a strong foundation in polyvagal theory and the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model.
I hold a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto and am currently a second-year doctoral student in the same program. I’m completing my advanced doctoral practicum placement at Transforming Emotions under the supervision of Dr. Emma Wookey.
