I’m Jessica, a Psychology Resident at Transforming Emotions. I am passionate about providing clients with a supportive space to explore difficult experiences and work towards meaningful change. I support adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, low mood, postpartum challenges, trauma, and relationship challenges. I approach therapy with warmth and empathy and believe in creating a collaborative and compassionate environment built on trust and genuine connection.
I am currently in my final year as a PhD student in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto. During my training, I have gained clinical experience at Sunnybrook Hospital’s Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Clinic, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s Women’s Health Concerns Clinic and Firestone Sleep Medicine Clinic, and New Leaf Psychology Centre. I take an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing primarily on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that is tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals..
