Affordable, High-Quality Mental Health Care with Supervised Therapists
Your well-being matters, and it shouldn’t be limited by financial barriers. At Transforming Emotions, we believe that everyone deserves access to professional, compassionate mental health care, which is why we offer therapy sessions with highly trained Qualifying Therapists at affordable rates.
Are You a Student in Ontario?
Access Mental Health Care That Fits Your Budget
Many Ontario students don’t realize that they automatically pay for extended health benefits as part of their tuition fees. Most students have $750 to $1000+ annually for mental health care, and you deserve to make the most of it. At Transforming Emotions, we offer therapy sessions with highly skilled Qualifying Therapists at a student-friendly rate of $100 per hour. Whether you’re dealing with academic stress, anxiety, relationships, or personal growth, our team is here to help.
Our Qualifying Therapists are rigorously trained and supervised by senior clinicians, so you can be sure you’re receiving top-quality care while staying within your budget.
How It Works for Students
Make the Most of Your School’s Mental Health Budget. Did you know that most students in Ontario have access to annual health benefits for mental health services through their school health insurance? Also, many school health insurance plans allow therapists to bill the insurance company directly for your care so your money stays in your pocket. At Transforming Emotions, we make it easy for you to access this care with our affordable rates for therapy. Our team can help guide you through using your coverage so you can focus on what really matters—your well-being.
Not Just for Students,
Increasing Accessible Care More Broadly
Our Qualifying Therapists aren’t just for students. If you need affordable, high-quality therapy, our team is ready to support you. Whether you’re balancing work, relationships, or personal growth, we provide compassionate care that’s tailored to your needs. You may be eligible for our accessible care program if you answer yes to the following questions:
- We consider accessible insurance coverage to include all insurance platforms accessible to you. For example, you may have access to benefits through your own work or school program, through a spouse’s work benefits, or if you are under age 25 and are able to talk to your parents about mental health needs, a parent’s work benefits. Across all insurance platforms available to you, do you have $1500 or less in benefits to spend on counselling each year?
- Do you identify as someone who is financially vulnerable and unable to afford market-value therapy because it would interfere with meeting other financial obligations such as paying for rent, food, commuting to work, childcare, or school supplies?
If you answered yes to the above two questions, you are likely eligible for our accessible care options. Contact our intake team to learn more.
