Registerred Social Worker
Using a primarily client-centered approach, I orient my work around Emotion-Focused Therapy. I believe that the process of unfolding one’s inner experience is a deeply moving journey—one that reveals the humanity and kindness that deserve to be acknowledged and nurtured. My goal is to help you transform challenges into meaningful life lessons, mobilize your internal resources, and foster personal growth and resilience.
I am a registered social worker with over two decades of experience in social work, with a strong background in family services in Hong Kong and more recent experience in Canada. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals and families through a wide range of challenges, including child protection, suicidal ideation, divorce, parenting issues, aging, poverty, addictions, and mental health concerns.
My clinical experience includes in-depth individual counseling, pre-marital and marital counseling, parent-child relationship work, and other relational concerns. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches into my practice, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.
I am fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, which allows me to effectively serve diverse communities and respond sensitively to their cultural and linguistic needs.
