I work with adults who are seeking support for a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, emotion regulation and relationship challenges.
I am committed to providing a warm, accepting, and collaborative environment in which you feel safe to show up as you are. I primarily draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I work by helping you gain a deeper understanding of how your life experiences have contributed to emotional pain and supporting you in processing, transforming, and regulating painful emotions. Together, we build on your strengths to help you move toward a life aligned with your values. My practice is rooted in anti-oppressive ethics and acknowledges the impact of systemic factors on mental health and wellbeing. I aim to help you feel safe to share and explore different parts of your identity (gender, race, sexuality, etc.).
I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). My clinical training and experiences include St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre, North York General Hospital, TMU’s Centre for Student Development and Counselling, and private practice. I have provided assessment and treatment for adults struggling with a range of psychological and emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, chronic pain, suicidality, self-harm, and high emotion dysregulation.
