EFT For Groups
Emotion-Focused Group Training
Combining individual and group therapy to effectively shift depression and anxiety.
Workshops Being Offered Virtually
Have you noticed how many of your clients struggle with shame, fear, and isolation underneath their symptoms of depression or anxiety? Imagine the impact of having clients meet one another in a safe and supported environment where their ‘real selves’ have room to surface and connect with each other.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to utilize individual EFT interventions in a group setting to undo aloneness and meaningfully reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. This workshop blends didactic instruction and experiential participation in a facilitated training group. This group model, based on the prior work of psychologists including Dr. Susan Wnuk, Dr. Adele LaFrance, Dr. Joanne Dolhanty, and Dr. Leslie Greenberg, is generalizable to evocative experiential therapies with a focus on working in real-time with emotional experience and expression (e.g. EFT, IFS, AEDP).
Trainers: Dr. Sarah Thompson & Dr. Laura Girz

“In terms of sheer professionalism, learning objectives, pacing, content, and delivery, this is one of the most valuable and well-thought-out trainings I have attended. This richly immersive, experiential training combines the clarity and effectiveness of EFT emotion theory and task work, with the transformational power and connection offered by group processing. It is delivered in a spirit of warmth and inclusivity.
